Process
I started the branding process with a conversation with the business owner to understand her inspiration, goals, and dreams for her recently launched company. She was still discovering what direction she was going to take. We did two logo rounds, one where the mascot logo mark was an ice-cream cup in a bold color. After the owner had some time to finalize a business plan, and some rough testing it with the product - back to the drawing board. The cup and colors were not the right fit for the brands personality.

The final logo form inspiration came during a brand photoshoot hosted in the kitchen. There’s where I discovered the pie bird and the owners unique collection of Americana porcelain bakeware.

Problem
A local San Francisco pastry chef stepping out on her own catering and general store venture was in need of brand awareness in the San Francisco market and digital presence.

Goal
Create a logo reflective of the brands fun and vintage personality. Design a website on a tight budget that could be easily updated by the owner. Infuse both logo and website with whimsy and texture.

Solution
Watercolor mascot logo mark and easily owner managed website featuring company offerings and seasonal menus. Both logo a website were Inspired by the owners pie bird collection and a shelves that displayed them.
